our current contributors don't have their cameras
handy I may resort to a historical image. So here is
one from Paul Gowan. This is the Victoria Kent,
previously the Kent Service and before that the Kent
Shore, built in UK in 1967, and according to my book
"The History of the Supply Ship" powered by two
Lister Blackstone engines developing together 1600
bhp. Interestingly on Pocra Quay in the background
can be seen the Edith Viking and the UT 704 Atlantic
posted here on 5th March 2012.
Please note the
publication of my latest book "RigMoves" below.
It is about moving rigs - but not as we know them.
It has been well received so far. Click on the cover
for further details. There are now none left to give
away, but buy one! It only costs £5.75 or equivalent
post free to anywhere in the world. Or if you took
advantage of my sopecial offer - see below - I'll
throw in a free copy.
