This is yet another extraordinarily exotic craft.
The Skandi Skansen photographed the other day by
Gaetano Spiteri in Malta. It is billed as
having 350 tons bollard pull provided by 35000 bhp.
And it has berths for 90 people. For those
unfamiliar with the sort of task for which this sort
of ship is designed, the AFrame is there to launch a
trenching plough, and the vast bollard pull is used
to make furrows in the seabed for the later
installation of pipelines.
