MURMANSK SHIPING COMPANY - MSCO

You always know when the internet information about a shipping company is lacking if this site comes up on the first or second page, and this is the case with MSCO, the Murmansk Shipping Company.

The available information indicates that they have at the very least one ship, the Vladimir Ignatyuk which is in origin an icebreaking supply ship built for Beaudril, and its details are included here. This ship has been employed in the Antarctic breaking ice to get support vessels through to an American base there.

The only other information I have been about to find out about the Murmansk Shipping Company is that they have had a tanker loading point somewhere in the far North, but this had now been abandoned due to the installation of another loading facility further offshore, developed by another shipping company.

There may be other offshore vessels in the fleet, but who knows.

Inserted 23rd April 3013
