I have tried
to make a habit of changing the picture on the entry page
into the site, but realise that people will probably bypass
it - or will not quite get what I have chosen to feature
this month, so here is an explanation. This is a view from
the pilot house of a semi-submersible being towed towards
Bressay Sound in the Shetland Islands by the Olympic
Hercules and the Normand Triton. I had sent the Island
Valiant to get the pilot because you need plenty of space to
land the personnel transfer device. You can just see Lerwick
in the distance.
