C&G BOATS

C&G Boats have been operating from Golden Meadow, Louisiana since the mid 1950s, mostly on a pretty small scale. However in the 1990s the company expanded and now operates more than 30 vessels of different types. The vessel featured here are the closest to being standard supply vessels. There are some smaller ships, and four lift boats in addition, which are not featured.

Since the last review it appears that the company have purchased a couple of ships and sold three. No details of the purchases are available.

At the 2014 review it appears that C&G Boats are part of Gulf Logistics, or the other way round. There have as a consequence, one assumes, been some changed to the fleet. Gulf Logistics appearing to have contributed some pretty ancient tonnage. One of the departures has been our only photographed vessel, but there we go.

Since we last looked at this company they have improved their online presentation, so more is known about the ships. They also have nine, what they call fast supply boats. They look like crew boats with deck space, but they are as long as many traditional supply vessels. I have not chosen to include them on this occasion, but they are coming along, and maybe we'll get to them in time. With the improved information it appears that either the details of some ships were wrong, or else they have been replaced with newer tonnage with the same name. This written at the:
