PICTURE OF THE DAY 2012

Photographs of offshore support vessels in action in many parts of the world. 

The mobile unit Noble Paul Romero entering the Grand Harbour Valetta in Malta. If you look at rhe rig specs this aappears to be some sort of deep water Noble design, but in reality it is an ancient submersible originally the Transworld 69 (I think). You can see the legs of the original rig inside the newer outer legs. For those who may be unaware, a submersible is a rig which will rest on the seabed to go to work, but may also be capable of being moored.
