PICTURE OF THE DAY 2012

Photographs of offshore support vessels in action in many parts of the world. 

You can get a lot of stuff on the back of a UT745, as shown by this photograph of the Northern Wave taken by Jan Plug as it was departing Ijmuiden last month. For those les familiar with all this hardware, the A-frame on ther stern appears to be there to deploy some sort of trenching device and aft of the accommodation on the port side there are two lesser A-frames for putting ROVs in the water.
