I have occasionally been invited to the annual gathering of the international offshore model makers, but have not made it yet. But here they are enjoying a fine day displaying their little supply ships. In the foreground is the UT718 Normand Draupne, made and photographed by Udo Herkenrath. Some of these models have working retractable azimuthing thrusters. And one assumes that if they can drive them in the pond, they would be fine driving the real thing.
