PICTURE OF THE DAY 2012

Photographs of offshore support vessels in action in many parts of the world. 

I've been to Aberdeen and since our office is on the harbourside have had a grandstand view of some arrivals and departures. Here is the STX PSV09CD the Skandi Aukra going up the river to a Shell berth for whom it has been working since it came into service in July. It occurred to me that Ulstein must be a bit irritated by the fact that after they had produced the XBow, all the other designers woke up to the fact that you can make the bow any shape you want as long as you don't mind the crew having to struggle every time they have to tie up.
