PICTURE OF THE DAY 2012

Photographs of offshore support vessels in action in many parts of the world. 

When our current contributors don't have their cameras handy I may resort to a historical image. So here is one from Paul Gowan. This is the Victoria Kent, previously the Kent Service and before that the Kent Shore, built in UK in 1967, and according to my book "The History of the Supply Ship" powered by two Lister Blackstone engines developing together 1600 bhp. Interestingly on Pocra Quay in the background can be seen the Edith Viking and the UT 704 Atlantic Rolwi.
