PICTURE OF THE DAY 2012

Photographs of offshore support vessels in action in many parts of the world. 

Possibly one of the tidiest designs to appear from the UT drawing boards in the 1990s was the UT 740, of which two were built the Normand Neptun and this fine vessel the Normand Atlantic, now with the special feature of a swimming pool on the forecastle (Installed in Brazil in 2001 we are told by a Pic of the Day visitor in Brazil). The ship was photographed at the FPSO Kikeh in the Soputh Cjina Sea by Phil Tweddle.
