PICTURE OF THE DAY 2012

Photographs of offshore support vessels in action in many parts of the world. 

Yes, I-ve been to Aberdeen again, and when I took this photo it was fine, although it had snowed and was to snow again. On the left the harbour control and just beyond the North Breakwater the construction vessel North Sea Giant. It is still there today. The ship had a deadweight of 35000 tonnes making it one of the largest in the business.
